Dairy House Cottages

Local to us

As the cottages have fully fitted kitchens, you can obviously turn your hand to your own culinary delights where you can enjoy eating al fresco in the quiet Devon countryside.  Both cottages have outside eating areas, but when the weather is unhelpful there is plenty of room inside.

Should you want to eat out, as usual in Devon there are many pubs and eateries, here are just a few in the local vicinity.  In order of closeness to us, are:

The Blacksmith Arms

The Merry Harriers

Keeper's Cottage

Near Kentisbeare

Wyndham Arms

There are numerous pubs in Cullompton itself, 3 miles away. Other places worth mentioning to eat are The Bakehouse in Cullompton, Otter Nurseries (near Ottery St Mary), and Joshua’s (opposite Otter Nurseries).

No doubt you will find others too, which will become your favourites.

The Bear Trail  is an adventure park just down the road about a mile.  This assault course will prove a challenge for some kids and all parents! A muddy good time to be had for all!

If you are looking for fun-filled, action-packed family days out in Devon… you need look no further than DIGGERLAND. Operate and drive full sized machinery including diggers, tractors and dumpers.

Quadworld is an all-terrain, off road, fun experience. Great fun for all the family on quad bikes!

The Donkey Sanctuary gives lifelong care to over 6000 donkeys and mules around the UK and Europe. Based in Sidmouth, Devon it is open year round. There is also an excellent restaurant.
