Onsite Fishing

In the field  that rolls gently away behind the properties, we have created a pond following the lie of the land to provide a natural environment for wildlife in a calming and wondrous setting.  This pond has been stocked with carp, bream, and tench and over the last few years has matured into a natural haven for both fish and wildlife.  Only our guests have the use of this pond to sit in the quiet serenity of the glorious Devon countryside.  Wildlife that we have seen includes heron, Canada geese, deer, and innumerable birds.

We now have Canada geese which return annually in early Spring to breed.  They stay until their goslings are ready to fly.
